Wowowow.. Time really flies like nobody's business man. My last post was way before the exams and now, it has been nearly two weeks after my exams! Yay. Best of all, i've got loads to show and tell. Fun-filled post-exams activities!
To start it off, i shall tell about the pool outing at china one in which i just came back from. It was dreadful at first when i realized i had to pay 20 bucks per couple instead of the 10 bucks that the stupid brian had said, but at the end of it all, i was rather content :]
The event started at 5pm, but mel and i decided that we should be there by 7pm instead. At about 615pm, susan and i were still rushing around the house due to our super taking-our-own-sweet-time. Oh ya, i had to bring a partner for this event which is why susan is going with me.
This is me when i was almost done. Pretty huh? See susan at the back who is still adjusting his shirt? Yah, he is always needing a longer time to get ready. Tsk tsk tsk. In fact, he stood in front of the mirror for a full 5 minutes just to tuck his shirt nice and well. Tsk x 10.
In the end, we weren't very late but we could have been on time if not for the idiotic cabby driver who drove at a freaking 40km per hour! Nevermind. Oh throughout the event, we played couple pool of a total of four matches, 9 games. The first match was with mel and her friend. It was a lucky 2-0 win la. But even though, no credit goes to susan who missed even the straight shots! Then, we played with caiting and her brother. This match was a rather easy 2-0 win as caiting's brother wasn't good. Semi-final match was played with audrey and her friend. Man, this match is very competitive! Although i don't really like audrey, i have to agree that she is really good. However, she has the worse altitude..talking on the phone while playing! Rude to the maximum max. It's all thanks to susan who played very well here that we won 2-1. Ha. I was sure glad that we beat her =] The finals. Yah, we actually managed to get here despite having those inter-school pool players playing, at which i couldn't believe it myself. We played with A (forgot his name as i ain't close to him :p) and his girlfriend. A is super good! Well, susan wasn't bad either so it was really exciting and challenging. But all thanks to the crowd who had gathered to watch that i missed the critical shot! Pressure. Lost 2-0.
Anyway, i said earlier that i was rather content because i got the runner up award :) Also, susan and i were voted the most compatible couple! Haha. So out of the five awards presented, we won two, which made us the big winner. Hee.. Money worth.
Had dinner or rather supper with mel after that.
Heading home. "Taxi!"
