Happy Birthday Singapore!!

Yeah.. Went to marina south with miao after school yesterday. We got there really early as eugene had asked miao to get food for him..but in the end he had finished eating a kfc meal when we arrived with his duck rice (which we specially went to bugis to buy for him!).. As usual..guys wad. When we were there, we were super disappointed by the carnival. There weren't that many food stalls that we were told of and it wasn't happening at all. Gives you a mood of wanting to sleep. Bearing our purpose of coming in mind (the 15 mins fireworks!!), we went to the concert area..thinking maybe things would be livelier there. We had to hop our way across the muddy entrance before we could get to the stand and get ourselves a good seat. The place was filled with a muddy odour.. Yucky. We sat there and chatted for about an hour and there was still no sign of anyone on the stage. That was when i felt an urge to go home..

Just then, two people came out on the stage..finally! The 933 djs started the show with a magic performance by some singapore-born magicians who they claimed had been really successful worldwide. Erm.. i think the show was okay..considering that i had seen david copperfield performing live before. After chong qing sang two of his songs, machi came on to rock the crowd.. They are good.. Love their break-dancing.. After machi, was a taiwanese model who went into singing..never heard of him before. Then..it was F.I.R's turn!! They really brought on the mood man.. So cool.. Kind of disappointed when they only sang one of their new songs..guess they wana save the rest for their own concert.. i can't rem the sequence for the rest of the show but there were Kone and 183 club.. i like li yang from Kone so i was only looking at him during Kone's performance..

At around 11p.m., i msg tweet..asking him if he wana come down to watch the fireworks with me.. His answer was very disappointing, but i kind of expected it. Still, it was able to bring tears to my eyes. Anyway, the fireworks was beautiful and the scene was truly amazing.. miao had wanted to watch it with eugene but he got to do his duty so we watched it together.. Best friends forever.. =)

Met nelson, jz and jay after the fireworks at the mrt station.. jz was so drunk but he is gentlemanly enough to send miao home. nel sent me till city plaza(somewhere near my place) where he took over to bring me home.. I was the one who called him to come by the way.. Guess he would rather stay at home..but i didnt wana trouble nel. Reached home at 2.15.. Long and tiring day.. But worth it..

miao told me that everything is fine about him (read previous post).. He is not gona do anything harsh as he is not the sort that would break up a relationship.. Gentleman. He also told miao that i'm a wife material..hee. Oh..and some other guy wanted to choose me that wed night too.. Yup..me getting popular =p
